Joomla Gallery 2.0.5 has Arrived! Category Access Levels

Today we are ready to present you a new update for our Joomla Gallery component. As in previous updates, we have focused on fixing bugs. But also, we have added new features, such as category access levels, option which allows to disable links in the lightbox and more.

With Balbooa Joomla Gallery 2.0.5, now you have the ability to set the access level for each created category. We used the standard Joomla! function. Option Access you can see in any Joomla Extension: Joomla! articles, categories, etc.

Option Access allows setting the level group that is allowed to view the category. For example, you can set, those specific categories that will be visible only for registered users.

How to disable alias in the Lightbox?! Customers very often ask this question, so we decided to add an option that allows you to disable alias in the lightbox right from the admin panel, without additional customization.

But, we want to inform you, if the option "Enable Alias" disabled, options Comments and Social Sharing will be disabled too! because these options require a unique URL in the lightbox.

We want to say thank you for all your suggestions that you write on our support forums, we really appreciate it! But first and foremost we want to fix all functionality issues and conflicts with 3rd party extensions. Quality is more important than quantity!
