Canonical URLs App - "Trailing Slash" option incompatible with link selector

Hi Balbooa,
I have the Canonical URLs app installed. In previous posts Balbooa have recommend enabling the "Trailing Slash" option for both Canonical URLs and the Site Map app.

However, I've noticed all the menu items, buttons, links to displayed posts etc, all reference links without a trailing slash. All these menu / links were configured by selecting pages through the apps and the GB link picker - please see image.

This results in all the internal links not ending in a slash, but the site-map and page Canonical references using a slash. This may effect the SEO and causes Google Console to complain that half of the links not being indexed (they are considered for indexing as the internal links all use a non-slash).

So unless I'm missing something, I'd recommend NOT selecting the "Trailing Slash" option on both the Canonical URLs and the Site Map app, as the GB link selector is not compatible with this option.

Looking for your advice please.
