How to create and set up authors in Joomla website builder Gridbox?




Joomla website builder Gridbox comes with the Author Manager that allows you to create authors, add profile pictures, descriptions for the author bio, assign Joomla users, and so on. In this tutorial, we’re going to show you how to create and configure authors in the Joomla website builder Gridbox.




Author manager


To open the Gridbox Author Manager, click the icon Authors in the sidebar menu.



Creating author


In the Author Manager, click the button Add New Item ➝ in the opened modal window, enter the author's name ➝ assign a Joomla user.

  • One Joomla user can be assigned only one author​

Author settings


In Author settings, you can rename author, set the alias for the author listing page, reassign Joomla user, set the author profile picture, description for the author bio and links to social profiles. 


To open author settings, right-click the author ➝ select Settings from the context menu.
