How to import and export Gridbox from one Joomla site to another?




Joomla website builder Gridbox allows you to export and import pages, themes, apps between your websites using a .xml file. Also, you can import all Joomla content in minutes with just a few clicks. By importing Joomla content, all article settings are saved and migrated to the Gridbox.




Exporting


The Gridbox allows you to export a few pages at once, and even the whole Gridbox site with all pages and apps.



Export single page


Right-click the page ➝ Export.



Export multiple pages


Select the pages ➝ click the button Export in the toolbar.



Export all pages and apps


Click the icon Options ➝ Export ➝ select the required items ➝ Save.

  • With the page(s) that you selected also will be exported the assigned theme with all preinstalled settings

Importing


Navigate to Options ➝ click on the tab Import ➝ select .xml file.

Importing Joomla content


Click the icon Options ➝ Import Joomla Content ➝ select the Gridbox App in which you want to migrate the Joomla content ➝ click the button Import.



All content of the Joomla article will be placed in the Gridbox plugin Text. 

  • Tags and categories of Joomla articles can be imported only to the Gridbox Blogging App​
  • Importing Joomla content may take some time. If you used Import previously, will be created duplicate content
