How to get Google Maps API Key?




Joomla website builder Gridbox comes with a Google Maps plugin that allows adding Google Maps with a custom color scheme and marker to your pages. To start using Google Maps on your Joomla site you’ll need to get Google Maps API Key.

  • To generate Google Maps API Key, you must be signed in to a Google account​

1. Go to the Credentials page.

2. Select project or Create project.
3. Click +Create Credentials ➝ API Key ➝ copy your API Key.
