Gridbox 3. Product Badges and Options
The development of the Joomla website builder Gridbox is moving forward on multiple fronts. We continue to support the current version of the builder: fixing bugs, maintaining Joomla compatibility, and releasing updates. At the same time, step by step, we’re building the future — Gridbox 3.
Multitasking? We’re not afraid of it. On the contrary, it has become part of our philosophy. And today, we’d like to show you another piece of this big project.
Product Badges
In the current version of Gridbox, Product Badges are managed through the product editor. We decided to rethink this process and make it more flexible and efficient. In Gridbox 3, badge management moves directly into the admin panel.
Why is this important? Simple. You no longer need to open the editor to remove or edit a badge. Now everything is managed from one place. It's fast, convenient, and centralized.
Managing Product Badges
In Gridbox 3, Product Badges have their own menu item and a separate page in the new native interface design. Here you can:
- Sort badges using drag and drop
- Use the search for quick access
- Manage pagination for large lists
- Sort by status, title, or ID.
And of course, bulk actions are available. Just select multiple badges and publish, unpublish, or delete them with a single click.
This approach makes working with product badges not just convenient but well-designed. Everything is clear, logical, and requires no extra steps.
Creating a Product Badge
Gridbox 3 continues moving toward complete standardization. Adding a new badge is now just as simple and intuitive as creating any other element in the Gridbox system.
Click Add New Item, enter a title, choose a color, and voilà — it’s ready. Minimal clicks, maximum efficiency!
Product Options
If you’ve worked with product options in the current version of Gridbox, you’re familiar with the twin-table layout and the cramped modal window with scrolling. Well, in Gridbox 3, that’s all in the past.
The options interface has been completely redesigned to match the new Gridbox 3 style. Product Options can now be sorted by type, title, or ID.
The new modal window is spacious and comfortable. No more endless scrolling! Adding a new value is now intuitive: select a type, create an item, and add it.
The functionality remains the same, but the process is now simpler, cleaner, and much easier to manage. Gridbox 3 continues its path toward systematization, standardization, and user-friendliness.
Conclusion
With every change, we’re making Gridbox not just more optimized but more enjoyable to use. The evolution of the builder isn’t only about new features. It’s also about refining the details that turn routine tasks into a pleasure.
