Gridbox 3. Zero, Booking and Blog Submission

Gridbox 3. Zero, Booking and Blog Submission

We continue introducing you to the updated submission forms in Gridbox 3. In the previous post, we talked in detail about the changes to the Product Submission Form. Today, we’re moving forward and want to show how the submission forms in the Zero, Booking, and Blog apps have been updated.

The design and structure of submission forms are now unified across all of Gridbox 3, so we won’t repeat the general details described previously. We will focus on the unique aspects of each app, since each has its own data types, specific fields, and special workflows. This blog post completes the overview of the changes and helps you understand the updated foundation of submission form workflows in the Joomla website builder Gridbox 3.

Joomla Website Builder Gridbox 3. Zero, Booking and Blog Submission

Zero App Submission Form

The functionality of custom fields in the Zero App remains the same. We didn’t change their logic. However, the form submission has changed significantly visually. The interface is lighter, more intuitive, and now fully matches the style of Gridbox 3.

However, the most important change lies deeper, in the reworked code structure of the submission form. These changes are invisible at first glance, but they play a crucial role. They clean up the foundation, simplify maintenance, and allow for expanded functionality without technical limitations or accumulated code inconsistencies. Working with fields has become simpler, and filling them out is faster and more enjoyable.

Item Submission and Page Content

We should also highlight the updated tabs for Item Submission / Page Content. Their appearance has been completely redesigned. Switching between tabs now feels more natural, which is important for quick content editing and data input.

Another important detail is the renaming of the plugin that displays the Page Content tab. Previously, it was called Post Content, but this name no longer reflected its actual capabilities. Since the plugin can be used not only in the Blog app, but also in Zero and Store, we updated its name to Page Content. The new naming is more exact, logical, and aligned with the unified structure of Gridbox 3.

TinyMCE in Gridbox Editor

Remember when we added TinyMCE to the admin panel? Now it's also available in the Gridbox 3 Editor. This means you can format text more easily, use tables and lists, structured content, and work with content more flexibly. The Textarea field becomes a mini editor. This improves workflow speed and the quality of your content.

Booking Submission Form

The submission form in Joomla Booking by Gridbox has also been updated. Just like in the other apps, its interface has been brought in line with the unified native design of Gridbox 3: more spacing, cleaner structure, logical distances, consistent lines, and refined typography.

Booking Settings were also visually redesigned. Functionally, everything remains familiar, but the user experience is noticeably more comfortable. It’s one of those cases when the workflow you know suddenly feels more intuitive. It’s easier to navigate and faster to change data.

Blog Submission Form

The Blog Post Submission Form in the Gridbox Blog App has undergone the biggest transformation. In Gridbox 3, the submission form becomes a full-fledged page editor, allowing you to create sections, rows, columns, and use any available plugins. This means that creating a blog post is no longer just simple. It becomes flexible, visual, and creative. A predefined structure no longer limits you.

As a result, every post becomes unique, thoughtfully designed, and visually expressive, allowing you to implement any creative ideas in your blog posts.

Conclusion

The updated submission forms are another step toward a holistic, thoughtful, and easy-to-use Gridbox 3. We wanted to show you not just new interface elements, but also the approach behind the third version: unified design, clean structure, simplified workflows, and a solid foundation that allows us to move forward without limitations.

Form submission in each Gridbox app has become cleaner, lighter, and more convenient, preserving everything familiar while removing visual and technical noise. These changes are not about flashy new features. They are about the quality of your everyday experience, about how simple and pleasant it feels to create and edit content.

All of this is only part of the bigger picture. We’re already actively working on the Editor and will soon share the first results. We’re putting all our attention into it to give you a tool that will inspire you to create awesome projects. Stay tuned, there’s more to come 😉
