Joomla 3 (with gridbox) to Joomla 5 update via xml

I would like to update Joomla 3 (with Gridbox) to Joomla 5. I want to do it by exporting gribox in Joomla 3 to xlm and then importing in Joomla 5 from xml. Will this work?
