How to integrate Klarna with Gridbox Store App?




Gridbox Joomla eCommerce comes with different payment gateways. In this tutorial, we will show you how to integrate Klarna with Gridbox Store App.




Klarna configuration

  • You need to set up the Klarna Checkout (KCO) account type. Sign up with Klarna as a merchant, providing your business details. Klarna Payments (KP) account type is not supported!



Log in to the Merchant Portal to find Klarna API credentials ➝ go to Settings ➝ API credentials.



Store app configuration


1. Add payment method Klarna.
2. Paste Merchant Username and Merchant Password.
3. Select Environment (Sandbox or Production). Set Sandbox to test and ensure that everything is working correctly, then switch to Production.
4. Select Region (Europe, North America, Oceania).
5. Enter Country Code. See Klarna documentation.
6. Click the icon Save.
