Hello Regarding the Recent Posts plugin, I believe there is a major opportunity for improvement.
Currently, the plugin only allows us to filter by Category or by the number of items. The only way to display specific items is to use the "Featured" flag. This is very limiting.
I would love to see the ability to filter or select posts by ID. This is a standard feature in most other Joomla extensions. Adding this would make the plugin vastly more useful for curating content.
Without this feature, if I want to display a specific set of posts that do not share a category or date, I have to build a custom block manually. This takes a lot of time. Adding ID selection would allow us to display content around the site in a much more important and deliberate way.
