How to set up promo codes in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox?
Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox comes with intuitive promo code settings that make it easy to set up and manage discount coupons. Just enter the number of times a code can be used, set date limitations, and products or categories to which the discount can be applied. Action description of each field you will find below.
General
Title
Adds the name of the promo code.
* This title displays in the Promo Codes tab in the Gridbox dashboard.
Coupon Code
Adds the promo code.
* Promo code that customers should enter to get a discount.
Сopy To Clipboard
Copies the promo code to the clipboard.
Type
Sets the type of discount (Amount or Percentage).
Coupon Restrictions
Applies To
Sets where the discount will apply:
- All Orders - applies to all orders
- Category - applies to each product in the selected categories
- Product - applies to specific products
* Click the icon Select and using the search field to choose categories or products that you want to set the discount.
Usage Limit
Limits the number of uses.
* Enter the number of times the promo code can be used.
Disable For Discount Products
Disables promo code for discount products.
* This means that it will not be possible to use a promotional code for products that already have a discount price.
Date Limitations
Start Date
Sets the start date of the promo code.
End Date
Sets the end date of the promo code.
