Webp

Hello,

I am using Joomla 5 together with the Gridbox component and I need to allow uploading files in .webp format.

In Joomla 5 configuration, I have already added the following under System → Global Configuration → Media:

Allowed Extensions: webp

MIME Types: image/webp

With this setup, Joomla’s Media Manager accepts .webp files without any issues.

The problem is that Gridbox does not allow me to upload .webp images from its own file manager. I cannot find any option in Gridbox settings such as “Allowed File Types” to add this extension.

Could you please let me know how to enable WebP image support in Gridbox on Joomla 5?
